Syrah Resources, the Australian-based industrial minerals and technology company, has selected CargoDocs DocHub Enterprise to improve its export documentation management globally.

Via DocHub, Syrah is using a single, integrated solution to collaboratively create, review and approve relevant shipping documents with its supply chain for graphite exports out of Mozambique – where the Company operates its Balama mining asset, the world’s largest high-grade graphite deposit.

DocHub enables Syrah to aggregate all key shipping and trade data via integration with its ERP system, eliminating data re-entry and facilitating automation. Via CargoDocs, Syrah creates more than ten different export and finance documents, such as Forwarding Instructions, Beneficiary Certificates, Certificates of Analysis, Weight, Commercial Invoices and more – collaborating with internal stakeholders to centralize its export document management. In addition, the solution crucially enables Syrah to mechanically sign and deliver non-title and supporting documents with its supply chain.

Plans are underway to further extend the Company’s use of the solution to include signing & legal transfer of title documents such as electronic Bills of Lading (eB/Ls) via CargoDocs DocEx.

Syrah continues to support and expand digitization of its trade processes both in scale and scope, a testament to its commitment towards maximizing operational efficiency, reducing risk and achieving greater visibility and transparency over its supply chain processes.

During 2019, Syrah significantly expanded its use of DocHub, achieving an 82% year-over-year increase in the number of shipping documents generated and prepared via the essDOCS solution.
