First ex-Ukraine Grain shipment under CargoDocs™ eB/L: An essDOCS Agri Customer successfully completes their first grain export from the Ukraine to Italy using CargoDocs™ electronic bill of lading solution. Ukraine is now added to a growing list of key regions where our eB/L solution is used in grain trade following previous successful eB/L grain shipments from the USA, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Australia and Russia.

NYK Line goes Live with first CargoDocs™ Ocean Line eB/L: essDOCS completes first operational use of electronic bill of lading (eB/L) solution in container line market, and first operational use by Chinese & American Trade finance banks. + READ MORE
Coffee to go Live in 2014: Noble Americas Resources moves to the final phase of testing of CargoDocs™ for containerized coffee cargoes. This final phase will involve using live ocean eB/Ls to replace paper in pre-defined trade routes with one of Noble’s key container lines. This is part of ongoing efforts in building a cluster of coffee traders which also include Louis Dreyfus and Rothfos (Neumann Kaffee Gruppe) testing CargoDocs™ on trades ex-Vietnam and ex-South America.
Chemicals warming up to eB/Ls: Following our first successful containerized chemical shipment from Singapore to China, several essDOCS customers are gearing up for future chemical trades under CargoDocs™.
CargoDocs™ for Barges News
Sea Tank to commence issuing eDocs: API Interface integration is well underway at SeaTank 510, with rollout of electronic sailing advice (eSA) to begin imminently, followed soon after with eBarge Receipts (eBR). Building on the success at ST510, we anticipate the expansion to Totsa’s equity at SeaTank Antwerp. This project is slated for mid-2014.
BP to commence eNoms testing: BP has committed to begin testing CargoDocs™ eNom functionality on European barge trades for 2014.
New version of CargoDocs™ for Barges to be released: We are currently developing a new version of CargoDocs™ for Barges for release in Q2 2014, including major improvements in functionality and ease-of-use. We are also under way in developing a first of its kind Barge eDocs platform, slated for release in Q3 2014.

essDOCS announces ePresentation over SWIFT and extension of CargoDocs™ eB/L to support BPO: CargoDocs™ ePresentation over SWIFT provides banks with value-adding supply chain capabilities for their customers’ businesses while leveraging existing SWIFT infrastructure, giving corporates access to the largest, most secure multi-bank platform: the SWIFT network. + READ MORE

CargoDocs™ BPO solution to be launched in 2014: Our eagerly anticipated BPO project is very close to launch and will include complete integration with SWIFT’s BPO matching engine (TSU), enabling control over release of electronic bills of lading on a successful BPO match. + READ MORE
CargoDocs™ eDocumentary Collection planned for use in Agri: We plan to launch our eDocumentary Collection functionality with an upcoming trade on behalf of a major essDOCS Agri Customer, with plans for the transaction to take place in Q3 2014. + READ MORE
