ICE CargoDocs ePresentation

ICE CargoDocs ePresentation enables electronic Presentation of original title documents such as ICE CargoDocs electronic Bills of Lading (eBLs) together with related supporting documents by a shipper or trader. The solution acts as a multi-bank channel, enabling ePresentation to any bank branch using ICE CargoDocs.

ePresentation can be made under eUCP v2.1 Documentary Credit (eUCP Presentation), eURC v1.1 Documentary Collection (eURC Collection) and/or any other instrument or rules agreed upon.

ICE CargoDocs ePresentation is primarily used in Agri, Metals & Minerals, Chemicals, Energy and Forestry trades. Click here for a list of key ICE Digital Trade bank & corporate customers.

Functionality

  • Used operationally with Letters of Credit, Doc Collections, as well as all payment terms such as CAD, DA, etc.
  • The Solution enables several options:
    • Pre-checking (pre-presentation)
    • Remote printing
    • Direct (remote) presentations
    • Electronic Presentations
    • Mixed Presentation
    • Certified eBL Copy to verify current holder
  • Supports all eBL types (i.e., To Order, bearer, bulk, breakbulk, ocean line, house, etc.), title transfer governance (i.e., multi-partite DSUA or local law) and workflows, i.e., eDocs issued directly to bank, back-to-back or back-to-back-to-back ePresentations, 4 eye reviews, etc.
  • Facilitates 3 or 4 corner presentations
  • Works in tandem with MT 798 L/C application or multi-bank trade finance application tools
  • Supports use of eBLs as a security/pledge, transferred to financing banks
  • Open APIs enable automation of various back-office tasks when integrated with back-end systems
  • Online 12-year archive of all document sets
