essDOCS network surpasses 50,000 customers

The essDOCS network has now surpassed 50,000 customers, marking a major milestone as paperless trade uptake continues to accelerate.
Over the past three months, we have added over 3,000 new essDOCS customers – doubling our average 12-month growth rate.

The Covid-19 pandemic has driven an industry-wide consensus on the imperative to digitize trade. Both NGOs such as the ICC and government authorities have called for (and in some cases even mandated) the use of electronic Bills of Lading, ePhytosanitary Certificates and more.
Similarly, as digital trade networks such as essDOCS’ continue to expand in scale and reach, the benefits of digitization shift from being an option for the few (e.g. with resources to invest in digital transformation) to the many, extending to trade participants of all shapes and sizes anywhere in the world.
Commenting on reaching this major milestone, Alexander Goulandris, Co-CEO essDOCS, said: “Amid current challenges faced by the industry, never before has the appetite to digitize trade been more pronounced. We extend our warmest thanks to our 50,000 customers for your trust and support. We remain committed to enabling trade digitization and look forward to continuing to assist you in your journey to fully paperless trade.”
