CargoDocs 22.1 Release Notes

We will be releasing updates to CargoDocs on Tuesday, 25th January 2022 at 11:00 AM UTC/GMT.

As with the previous release, there will be no system downtime for deploying the latest version, CargoDocs 22.1. However, we strongly recommend all documents be processed outside the hours between 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM UTC/GMT on the day.

Should you experience any issues post-release, please contact essDOCS Support as soon as possible. We will ensure that your request is handled and resolved in a timely manner.

What's Changing?

Below is an overview of the updates and improvements we will release into CargoDocs version 22.1:

  1. Ability to add a mechanical signature to your endorsement stamp – In DocEx, the eBoL title holder can now draw a mechanical signature which is added to the background of their endorsement stamp when endorsing their eBoL.
     
  2. Ability for a Carrier to Un-accomplish an eBoL – In DocEx, the Carrier can now Un-accomplish an eBoL from their Filed folder if required, moving it back into their Inbox to action.
     
  3. LOI Functionality Improvements – With the addition of further LOI templates we have continued to improve the LOI creation functionality, resulting in a cleaner display of the shipment and LOI documents. 

    ​​​​​Note: This functionality has not been implemented for all users; please contact us if you require more information and/or a demo of this feature.
     
  4. APIs – We have further developed our Open APIs, extending endpoints to include all relevant DocEx actions for key interfaces.
     

Ability to add a mechanical signature to your endorsement stamp – As an eBoL title holder, you can now draw a mechanical signature which is added to the background of your endorsement stamp when endorsing the eBoL.

Click on My Signature from the Inbox, draw your signature on the screen and click Save:

Ability for a Carrier to Un-accomplish an eBoL – As a Carrier, you can now Un-accomplish an eBoL from your Filed folder if required, moving it back into your Inbox to action:
