CargoDocs 21.2 Release Notes

We will be releasing updates to CargoDocs on Tuesday, 13th July 2021 at 10:00 AM UTC (11:00 AM BST).

As with the previous release, there will be no system downtime for deploying the latest version, CargoDocs 21.2. However, we strongly recommend all documents be processed outside the hours between 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM UTC (11:00 AM - 11:30 AM BST) on the day.

Should you experience any issues post-release, please contact essDOCS Support as soon as possible. We will ensure that your request is handled and resolved in a timely manner.

What's Changing?

Below is an overview of the updates and improvements we will release into CargoDocs version 21.2:

  1. Ability to Split & Print Convert in one action – In DocEx, the eBoL title holder can now action an eBoL Split and Print Convert request in one action. This feature will save time for the Shipper or holder of the eBoL, and provide more clarity for the Carrier receiving the request. 
     
  2. LOI Functionality Improvements – With the addition of further LOI templates we have continued to improve the LOI creation functionality, resulting in a cleaner display of the shipment and LOI documents.

    ​​​​​Note: This functionality has not been implemented for all users; please contact us if you require more information and/or a demo of this feature.

  3. APIs – We have further developed our Open APIs, extending endpoints to include all relevant DocEx actions for key interfaces.
     

Ability to Split & Print Convert in one action – As an eBoL title holder, you can now action an eBoL Split and Print Convert request in a single action, saving time for Shippers or eBoL holders and providing more clarity for Carriers receiving the request:

The requestor can now add Signature and Delivery Instructions for the Carrier.

Once the Split has been approved by the Carrier, the user can now Print Convert all the new eBoLs in one action with our new Multi-select Print Convert functionality.

The selected BoLs are displayed, with the instructions from the requestor.

We have now also added to the options the Assigned Agent at the Load Port. If one was involved, they will be displayed for the Carrier to select from:
