We’re pleased to confirm that Brazilian mining conglomerate Vale has signed an operational agreement with essDOCS in order to expand its use of CargoDocs electronic Bills of Lading for bulk iron ore trade.

The mining major, a CargoDocs eB/L user since December 2014, will extend its use of the essDOCS solution to cover iron ore export from Brazil, imports from Asia Pacific including financed shipments under eUCP Letters of Credit, and all internal shipments for trade routes ex-Brazil.

Vale is one of the world’s largest miners by volume and one of three major global mining companies to adopt CargoDocs electronic Bills of Lading for iron ore trade, amid increasing uptake of eDocs in the metals & minerals markets.
