Lindsey Oil Refinery in the UK becomes the first Total owned refinery to adopt essDOCS CargoDocs electronic bill of lading solution. Lindsey has a processing capacity in excess of 10 million tonnes per annum (over 200,000 barrels per day) and is operated by Associated Petroleum Terminals (APT). APT used eB/Ls operationally for the first time in December 2013, at the Phillip66 Humber Refinery.

At the end of last year, APT advised shippers and traders that it would transition fully to electronic shipping documents at both Lindsey and Humber by April 2014.
