Petrocam, a South
African based trading company, commenced a Trial of  CargoDocs™ for Tankers, essDOCS electronic bill of lading solution, for Ship-to-Ship
(STS) transfers off the coast of West Africa.  During the initial phase, SGS will use CargoDocs™ to create drafts shipping documents in the UK. These will be reviewed and approved online by Petrocam and local buyers in Africa, using CargoDocs’s collaborative drafting tool. The Trial is planned to expand in due course to include importers, trade finance banks and the local Regulator, substituting paper documents with original eDocs.
