Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line) becomes the first container line to sign up to CargoDocs electronic bills of lading solution. NYK creates draft electronic bills by pushing XML data directly into CargoDocs after which the electronic bill of lading are managed as per any eB/L, whether a liner eB/L, tanker eB/L, etc. NYK Line is currently involved in tests of Liner electronic bills of lading in the intra-Asia chemicals trade.
