First grain shipment ex-Uruguay using CargoDocs™ electronic bill of lading
We’re pleased to confirm the first ever use of our CargoDocs™ electronic bill of lading solution for grain export out of Uruguay. The successful trade was recently completed by a major essDOCS Agri Customer and involved dry bulk cargo consisting of 37,834MT of Uruguayan Yellow Soybeans and 26,530 MT of Argentine Yellow Soybeans, transported from Nueva Palmira, Uruguay and Rosario, Argentina to El Dekheila, Egypt. Uruguay now marks another key region where our eB/L solution is used in grain trade, following previous and ongoing eB/L grain shipments from the USA, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Russia, Ukraine and more. In addition, the bulker transaction was successfully executed by all parties using our CargoDocs™ Collaborative Drafting tool, which improved visibility throughout the process and substantially reduced time spent approving documents.
