The final stages of the Singapore to China shipment of containerised chemicals saw China CITIC transfer title of the original ocean electronic bill of lading and supporting eDocs to Wuhan Xinlianchuang Plastics Chemicals Industry on Tuesday this week.  Wuhan in turn surrendered the original electronic bill of lading back to NYK Line, the ocean carrier, on Wednesday prior to the vessel arriving at the discharge port in China. In addition to this being the first ever ePresentation with an electronic liner bill of lading, it was the first essDOCS bill of lading for NYK Line plus the first live use for all the parties in the supply chain from Singapore to China.  essDOCS thanks all the participants for making this first shipment so smooth and we look forward to many, many more.
