Following last year’s successful event, we’re happy to confirm that our CEO, Alex Goulandris, will be joining two panel discussions at the 3rd ICC Supply Chain Financing Summit taking place in Paris between 22 & 23 October 2014. The first discussion, ‘Will multi-bank platforms remove or increase competition between banks?’, will be focusing on multi-bank platforms within the scope of their practicalities and benefits as well as their potential impact in decreasing or increasing competition between banks, providing an opportunity to address an array of issues that will affect the development of multi-bank platforms in the medium and long term. The second discussion, ‘BPO: from conception to adoption’, will offer a closer look into market adoption of the Bank Payment Obligation since the ratification of the ICC BPO rules, as well as offering insights into linking BPO to electronic bills of lading, latest corporate case studies and the implementation of compliance controls on BPO-based transactions. Alex will be joined by an esteemed panel of trade finance professionals from major global banks, with both discussions moderated by Andre Casterman, Member of the Executive Committee, ICC Banking Commission & Head of Corporate and Supply Chain Markets, SWIFT.
