The ESS-Databridge™ has a number of features which increase its adoptability and its utility to Users.

Straight-through data processing	Integrated Users can import or export data directly into/out of the Exchange, enabling ESS to pre-populate fields across multiple documents instantly and without human intervention. This feature: minimizes drafting time; eliminates inter-document errors; and decreases the likelihood of non-conforming documents being presented to a bank under a letter of credit.
Instantaneous Transfer of Title	Title of the goods can be passed by endorsing an electronic bill of lading from one User to another within the Exchange instantaneously.
Global Accessibility	The Exchange can be accessed anywhere through the internet, mobile or cellular networks, satellite networks, etc.
ESS-Databridge™ Messaging (DM)	DM is a communication tool which provides Users with a durable logged messaging platform. DM messages are transmitted instantaneously between Users in an encrypted form. They are logged and stored in the ESS-Databridge™ for retrieval and auditing purposes.
Notifications	Supervisors and Users are notified of all major events relating to their electronic documents. For example, both the sender and the receiver of an original electronic document are notified when a document transfer is complete. Notifications can be provided in a number of formats including DM, e-mail, SMS and/or fax. Users can tailor the manner, frequency and recipients of notifications to ensure that individuals or groups receive the notifications they require in the most efficient manner.
Logs	The ESS-Databridge™ creates a number of logs for auditing purposes including: Document Logs: the system records all amendments and messages relating to all original electronic documents; Title Logs: the system records all changes to original electronic title documents, such as negotiable bills of lading; and User Logs: the system records all actions taken by Users.
