Customs & eDocs

ESS commenced a project in 2010 working with Customs Authorities globally to determine whether, and to what extent, they would accept electronic documentation and to ensure that a workable solution was available for each custom authority where ESS’s CargoDocs™ is used operationally. 

Currently the project encompasses authorities in a number of jurisdictions including Europe, Russia and Central America.  Over time, this project will cover all Customs Authorities involved in waterborne cargos globally.

ESS is in the process of adding information on what eDocs will be accepted by Custom Authorities to CargoDocs™, making it readily available to end receivers when required.
