Our mission is to develop and deliver industry-led solutions to modernise and accelerate global trade processes.

We undertake this through a web-based electronic document / data Exchange relating to trading operations and shipments of cargos.  

Our solutions electronically link physical shipping and logistics to the financial supply chain: facilitating straight-through-processing; compliance with industry accepted best practices; improved cargo shipping operations; and automation of trade finance and payments.

eDocs Services Overview
ESS provides a number of integrated eDocs services through the ESS-Databridge™ which enable international trade participants to better manage and transact the documents required for operations, legal, compliance and customs purposes.  eDocs solutions offered include:

  • CargoDocs™ covers the core documents required for shipping and trading such as Bills of Lading, Certificates of Quality, Quantity, Origin, Cargo Manifests, etc.  We currently offer CargoDocs™ for Tankers, ARA Barges and Liner markets
  • eCO enables users to submit electronic certificates of origin to relevant Chambers of Commerce, where they are electronically signed
  • eSDS covers compliance documents such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS) required under REACH
  • eAD meets EMCS requirements for electronic Administrative Documents (eADs) and Reports of Receipt (RoR)
  • JetDocs™ covers traceability of refinery certificates, certificates of analysis and other relevant documentation required to trace origin and quality of Jet Fuel under Def Stan 91-91 Issue 7
  • eInvoice enables users to send and deliver any sort of electronic invoices through the ESS-Databridge™ Exchange, from pro forma invoices, commercial invoices, etc.

ESS-Databridge™ eDocs Exchange
ESS owns and operates the ESS-Databridge™ eDocs Exchange which guarantees instant delivery of legally effective electronic trading and shipping documents, from quality and quantity certificates to certificates of origin, timesheets and original documents of title.

eDocs Services are provided on a pay-as-you-go (SaaS) basis via the ESS-Databridge™.

Supported Throughout
ESS, in conjunction with its Users’ Association the DDG, supports companies from the point of evaluating eDocs, while preparing to adopt eDocs, through testing, rollout as well as on an ongoing basis after you have replaced paper with eDocs.  Essentially, we assist you with project and change management throughout the process of adopting any of ESS’s Solutions.

ESS’s Solutions are developed in association with, and refined through, our Users’ Association, the ESS-Databridge™ Development Group (DDG).
